This time it's a druid. I've had enough interest to get her to level 11.
We'll see how long this lasts. I'd like to get her up to 20 before Lunar Fest is over so I can have one of my lovely friends escort her around to get more rep for Undercity so I can buy an undead horsey.

Update: Enhancement Shamans were given low health by Blizzard... thanks a lot
...you can play for fun, you know....
In heroic Forge of Souls. Glaive was the healer. Guess what, no one died, more specifically, I didn't die, though I had to heal myself once in a while. Which makes me wonder if my HP is really that low or if these healers just can't keep up.
He complained after we beat the final boss. I just feel like I'm another body to whack things. I'll drop my wolves and they're another party member. How can you complain about that? So we're not killing the guys in 10 seconds, so what.
By 'go ele' he means Elemental which is just another dps or something spec. But with enhancement, I get duel wield and Feral Spirit, which is my ghost wolves. So suck it. At least I enjoy playing (yea yea, despite what I said about loosing interest, I'm still playing nearly every day, but it's winter, what else am I going to do?)
I like the spec I play, I know what I'm doing, yeah my weapons are still greens, but I can't seem to find any one-hand maces that have better damage. Why is that? Even purple maces have crap damage rating.
But at least he spelled my name correctly and, for the most part, didn't use any shorthand, so at least it's not some 12 year-old snot-nosed butthole. "Helpful with a side of snark" as my friend put it.
I'll admit, when it comes to armor and I see something purple with a better armor rating than what I have and I'll need roll for it. I don't know about stats, other than mana regeneration.
I probably fall into the "fail 80" category, but I really don't care. I don't care about gear, I only started running heroics because my boyfriend convinced me to. And since it's apparently the only way to get any better gear....
Which begs the question, how do I get more HP or more DPS? Is better gear the only thing to boost it? I checked my HP last night, it's about 17,100 something. I guess that's fairly low... but what am I supposed to do?
/sigh. I try not to let it get to me and at the same time it got to me. Maybe everyone in all the other heroics I've ran just don't say anything. Who knows. He's the only one that's said anything to me.
Greedy Goblin can do it in blues, so piss off.

Looks like it's harder than I thought.

So after I posted about "quitting" WoW, I've played every day since that proclamation. I even started a new toon. Got her to level 10, too. Taking a break seems harder than I thought. Though, admittedly, I think I play just to chat with my boyfriend who lives a state away since it's easier to talk that way than yammering on the phone or texting endlessly. Yea, a real life boyfriend.
I did Heroic Blood Furnace with my DK boyfriend last night. Yes, just the two of us. He was tanking, and I had my healer pants on. Maybe I should duel spec for heals. Though I've heard Shamans aren't the greatest healers. But, I enjoy doing things with my boyfriend better than with a group with a real healer, so I better step up.
I've heard Cataclysm isn't scheduled for release until November, so I've got plenty of time to get my Wintersaber, which I figured out I only need to do the quest group 23 more times. Sigh. Down those giants, slaughter the furbolgs, annihilate endless amounts of bears and chimera for meat. At least it sort of gets me more reputation for the Timbermaw as well, though after hitting revered, I don't get rep for killing them anymore, except for the "bosses" which are still 60 rep a kill.

Don't fly between the legs of a Fel Reaver. He finds it offensive and will pummel you.
However, you can fly around his head and chest all you like.
