I started a new character. I won't play it that often, I'm sure. I want to try an experiment. How long will it take to level without taking on any quests? And only making money by looting and selling ore and skins?

I wonder....

I recently hit 61 on my Resto/feral druid. I got three awesome items from Molten Core that make my healing even more awesome. I've been doing heals in dungeons because, well, then no one asks me to tank when I sign up for dps. I hate tanking and I'm not good at it. So I have my duel spec for healing, I'm a silly little tree now and I know how to heal, I'm (to toot my own horn) a good healer, especially with the epics I got from MC.

I've been doing the random dungeon finder, which is, interesting at best as far as the people you get grouped with. I've had some awesome groups, and some real miserable groups.

Case in point of crappy group, players not knowing their roll in the group. I got randomed into Ramps. I'm the healer, remember. Grouped with a warlock, mage, shaman, and a 60 DK tank. The first big mob we hit, I can barely keep the tank alive. Thinking, why is his hp so low? I moused over everyone's hp, he has the highest. Hmmm. He dies because I can't keep up, rez him on the spot and we carry on.

First boss, I die, my fault, got too close.

Next big mob, in that area before the dragon boss, he dies and we all die. I get back to my body first, rez everyone, but I can't seem to find the body of the tank, or it was too far out of my range and I didn't want to get closer.

An option pops up to kick the tank. I agree, but it fails. I say that he sucks, the warlock agrees, to which the shaman replies with, no your healing sucks. Again, vote to kick fails and he comes back. Obviously the shaman and the tank are friends.

I then find out the tank is in DPS gear. Really? Then don't sign up for tank, I say. I can't keep up, I don't just let people die, I say. The shaman then tells me he's been healing the tank too, I ask why. It's my job to heal him, not the shamans. The shaman proceeds to tell me that he can heal better than me and I suck. Fine, I say, you heal then, and I left in a middle of a boss fight. HA! Yeah, I'm a jerk like that, but they were pissing me off.

Know your roll when you sign up for a battle. I don't sign up for heals wearing my dps gear or vice versa. If that shaman was going to heal, then he should have signed up for healing, not dps. He was enhancement, duel wield, I know he can heal, but still. On my shaman, I've been yelled at by the healer for healing myself in battle. I'm not there for heals, I'm there for dps, another body to whack things, as I say.

Some people are so ignorant. An Enhancement shaman can't even say he's a better healer than a Restoration druid. I know, I play one! And she's duel spec'd for healing too. Druids just do it better! Though Earth Shield would be awesome to have on my druid.

It pissed me off so much I stopped playing and rode my bike for 12 miles.

And talk about stupid kids, I saw a young boy, in the 9-12 range, smoking a cigarette. Uhg.

However, I think it's a little unfair to lump everyone who bought the mount together into "kids and idiots." Yeah, I waited 4 hours in queue for it the day it came out, when my friend bought it the next day instantly. I thought it was going to be a limited edition mount you could only get that day. But guess what, it's still in the store. I guess it's always going to be there. But back to what I was saying. I had been grinding for Undercity reputation on Darkcrest, my druid, simply because I hate the Kodo. I think it's stupid, ugly, and it doesn't fit through doors. I'm just about to turn 42 and I'm only halfway through Revered with UC. I bought the horse, equipped it, and literally laughed out loud at how stupid it looks. As usual, Blizzard did a crap-ass job with the model and the animation. It's as awful as the Reindeer buff you get in winter. The jump in ground mount form is stupid, certainly unrealistic, and its mouth is open the whole time, lame. Yeah, Blizzard suckered me into to spending the $25 on it, whatever. I've been reading that other players are getting shit and made fun of for buying it. Who the eff cares. Greedy Goblin "didn't post about it," just ripped on all of us.
Don't lump us all together. I'm not a kid and I'm not stupid. I wanted to replace my Kodo, that's it. And it's a free flying mount, not that my druid would need it, but still.

FINALLY got the raptor mount, yay.

I have acquired an epic weapon!

Dropped at the end of Heroic Halls of Reflection. Which was actually fun and terrifying at the same time. Now I just need to get another one so I can drop my other lame-o green mace of Lameness.
